This hilarious ad (seen here in situ) from Dublin sells safety with a smile if the reaction of riders is anything to go by. Yay Dublin.

    I think in Dublin it may be funny. I don't know the level of security women feel on the trains there, but in Los Angeles this would not be nearly as funny.

    But I do like creative adds that have humor. It makes taking public transit more interesting. Public transit should be viewed as just as entertaining as driving a Mini Cooper up PCH (that's a major curvy road along in the beach in Los Angeles.) I used to speed up PCH before I gave up my car for the exciting life of a public transit user in Los Angeles. And public transit in LA is exciting!!
